Six Iranian films--including five short films and one documentary--have gained awards at the 2017 ATS Film Festival in India.

The official award winning films including six Iranian representatives was announced during the festival’s closing ceremony held on June 11, 2017.

The awarded Iranian films include, among others, ‘Black and White’ by Ali Ahmadi, ‘Red Line’ by Mona Abdollah Shahi, ‘O+ AB’ by Reza Hadiani, ‘War’ by Moein Mansoori-Fard and ‘My Heart’ by Yaser Talebi (documentary).

ATSFF is a documentary, animation and short film festival, which will be held in the desert city of Rajasthan in India.

The event uses the power of filmmakers to further help the causes of peace, harmony, social justice, meditation and environment on earth.

From the outset, ATSFF envisioned ‘peace’ not as the absence of conflict but as a framework for channelizing, processing and resolving conflicts through respectful and non-violent means.

The Indian festival’s second edition was held on June 10-11 2017.
